WHAT
WE DO
PROGRAMS & PROJECTS.
We uplift and empower the Indigenous communities of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines by preserving cultural heritage, advocating for rights, and fostering sustainable development rooted in tradition. Our work centers on identity, resilience, and representation - ensuring that Indigenous voices shape the future of our islands.
Cultural Conservation
We document, celebrate, and revitalize Indigenous traditions - from language and storytelling to crafts, ceremonies, and ancestral knowledge.
Advocacy & Representation
We work to ensure Indigenous peoples are recognized and respected in national policy, education, and development planning - amplifying their voices in decision-making.
WHERE WE WORK.
Community Empowerment
We support Indigenous-led initiatives that promote economic independence, land stewardship, and social well-being through training, advocacy, and collaboration.
Education & Awareness
We raise public awareness about the history, contributions, and rights of Indigenous peoples in SVG through workshops, exhibitions, and media outreach.
Youth Engagement
We create spaces for young Indigenous Vincentians to connect with their heritage, build leadership skills, and become cultural ambassadors in their communities.
Cultural Exchange & Solidarity
We build bridges with other Indigenous groups across the Caribbean and beyond, fostering solidarity, shared learning, and regional advocacy.
SIPA is rooted in the communities of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines—from the northern village of Fancy to the Grenadine islands. We work wherever Indigenous Vincentians live, gather, and organize—on the land, by the sea, and in the heart of our cultural spaces.
